I am a wife, mother, and grandmother from Jonesboro, Arkansas, USA. My four grandchildren Faith, Mary Kathryn, Levi, and Brooke are the delight of my life and the source of many of the articles, stories and devotions that I write. I am a big NASCAR fan and I also write Christian motorsports stories and devotions.
My husband and I are retired. Wow, what a retirement! Serving Jesus every day is such a joy. "They will still produce fruit in old age…" Psalm 92:14 is the verse God has given me. And it is my desire to serve Him all the days of my life.
My mother and father raised me in a Christian home, and I received Jesus as my personal Savior at an early age. For as long as I can remember, I have longed to know my Jesus more. So through the years and the mistakes that we as humans make, God knew my heart and today He is honoring my seeking heart by allowing me to write for Him.
Several years ago I asked the Lord if it was possible to take someone He had given the spiritual gift of serving and make a ‘Mary’ out of them, I would love to be that person. God answered my request and these days I love spending time in the Word and in prayer.
Today God is permitting me to be a contributing writer for Obadiah Magazine and Christian Motorsports Illustrated Magazine. I am a staff writer for www.catchfence.com and a team writer for

Reaching retirement with a degenerate back has slowed me down a little physically, but I have found myself speeding up spiritually. Praise His Holy Name!
